Fails to restart after adding mods and updating

I've played factorio for a while and might have updated it when I started. Then I added a mod so factorio restarted itself. After restart it then detected 0.15.23 and I updated to that. Factorio then failed to restart saying something like finished-update can't be set twice.

Does it happen every time? Can you post your log file of when it failed to restart?

Only happened once and I just restarted the game manually so any log got wiped I think. But I can look. What file where you thinking of?

Factorio-current.log or factorio-previous.log.

Here's a copy of my current/previous logs when this occurred.

Immediately before this I:

• Upgraded some mods, and installed some other mods.
• Restarted Factorio.
• Synced mods with save.
• Factorio closed, but did not restart. Well, obviously it started, given the log file, but it did not manage to open any windows.

I did a quick check, and there wasn't anything in the event log that looked relevant.
