[0.15.23] Crash on save load on: "UnwindNestedFrames"

Yesterday I updated Factorio to 15.23 and I played some hours with exisiting savegames and everything was fine.
Today I played some hours with the same savegame and after 2 hours of gaming the game crashed while auto saving.
After restarting factorio I tried to load the autosave savegames, but each savegame seems broken.

Can you help me to fix one of my savegames? The savegames containing 70 hours of gaming ....

You will find the savegames and error logs attached.

The zip files are corrupt. This is very strange.
Do you happen to have the crash report from when the game first crashed while auto-saving?

Zip file creation is out of our control and never caused problems. There is nothing we can do unless you manage to reproduce the problem.

Okay, thank you for your response. I guess there is no chance to get my savegames back...
Unfortunately I can't reproduce the bug and don't have this crash report.

I had a similar problem just a few minutes ago, the game crashed apparently during an autosave, the autosave was incomplete/corrupt and when I navigated to [main menu]->Play->Load, the game crashed with a 'setup_exception' because of the corrupt file. It would definitely be appreciated if exception handling code could be placed to take care of this unlikely event.

P.S. The filename was 'autosave[n].tmp.zip'

EDIT: Found a relevent bug in the process, makes the game crash instantly. I open a constant combinator, and try to put a negative value of an item by pressing '-'... Help would be appreciated.

What version of the game are you running? When I put a negative value in a constant combinator it doesn't crash. Can you upload the save file you're using and the crash log when it happens?

Game version: 0.15.3
Save Game:
Play2-NoEnemies.zip
(6.81 MiB) Downloaded 91 times
Log: ... (The log has nothing about it, no errors, no warnings, no crash report, nothing...)

EDIT: When you test the save, try putting the uranium 235 item set in the constant combinator to a negative...

You need to update to the latest version of 0.15. 0.15.23 to be precise. You're 20 minor versions behind :P

Will it hurt my current save-game?

Where does this version of factorio hold its save-games? Its no longer with the game itself...

EDIT: Nvm, found it in `C:/users/[me]/Application Data/Factorio`

Nope, the update did not help, if you can set it to negatives, how do you do it?

EDIT: I figured it out, the bug that crashes the game is using the number pad minus sign... Do you think you guys could fix that?

When I use the number pad minus it works perfectly fine for me. I type it in and it sets it to a negative value. Are you running the latest version of the game? 0.15.23?

I just updated. So yea. Maybe minus on blank field?

Edit: Because all instances that it crashed I was typing a minus sign into a blank field...
Edit2: btw, updating threw me a curve ball with all the different balance changes...

I can't reproduce any crash when doing what you describe: http://i.imgur.com/4Ks6bTh.jpg

What keyboard layout are you using? I have no issues on a standard US QWERTY.

Since we have no way to reproduce the original posters problem of corrupt zip files (and because we don't actually control how zip files are created in the games code) I'm going to move this to pending.

If the original poster ever finds steps to reproduce the problem let us know otherwise there's nothing we can do.
