My player model is invisible, has been started in patch 15.3 still going on in 15.9
have reinstalled game, manually delete game files and verified, have also deleted the appdata folder, as well as combinations of them all.
if i delete both and restart my pc, i see my play model for the first load, than after a restart nothing.

I dont normally play long if i'm invisible, however a full zoom in and out does nothing, and so far no matter what i do, i remain hidden

Are you playing in "god mode" where play without a character avatar?

try this command in the consol (~ key to open)
/c game.player.print(tostring(game.player.character))

you may have to enter twice. If the game prints "nil" then you are in god mode, so there is no player model to render.

Nope, i just loaded up .3 after i found it, and made a new map (first pic) that was good for a bit then i went invisible (After exiting the game and joining back later). come to think of it i didn't exit the game up until the fist pic (pic was after the exit (dur))

but being 15 i wanted to play everything with stock settings, no mods no console commands, no past maps and have fun figuring out all the new stuff

Does this still happen in 0.15.16? Can you post your log? It is located in %APPDATA%\Factorio\factorio-current.log. It seems to be graphics issue, even though pretty interesting, never saw only character not being rendered.
