I bought the game on Steam 2 weeks back.
1) After I play for some time, the game suddenly freezes and I am forced to cntrl+alt+delete and go to task manager and kill Factorio from there.
2) Second issue is the levels are not showing properly for campaigns. 1st campaign level 2 is missing...It shows only 1 and 3 . For 2nd campaign -New Hope...I have cleared level 3 and have started level 4 and in fact have many saves on it too. Yet level 4 does not appear when I go to campaign menu ..it shows only level 1,2,3
3) I researched oil processing on level 4 of new hope but Have not got the Steam achievement..not sure whether this is a bug or we do not get achievements in campaigns?

Try to open Factorio properties in Steam library and set launch options to

Code: Select all

--force-opengl

. Let me know if the game still freezes with this option enabled.

Currently, achievements can be unlocked only in Freeplay scenario.

Currently, achievements can be unlocked only in Freeplay scenario.

Will I get Steam Achievements if I start "New Game" in Menu? Or I have to go to Scenarios and then start mods\base\freeplay?

The campaign issues should be resolved in the next version of 0.15.
