Version 0.12.35.

Unable to find log file, whenever I try to open the game it just says unexpected error occurred.

The log file is located in "~/Library/Application Support/factorio", can't help you without it.

Is the file called changelog.txt?

This is the only thing I could find relating to the logs

Version is 0.12.35

The log file is called factorio-current.log and should be in the folder HanziQ mentioned.

Please update to the latest experimental version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sruKeZXXVTk) and see if the error still occurs.
