The mod(s) and steps on how you got it to crash would be helpful.

Looks resolved with next version but it should also work with frame_count=1
and current walking-directions not match the walkgun-directions

- frame_count in runningwithgun is in orginal 22 but 1 should work.
- if i use same animation as running (fc=22 dir=8) also the game crashes after switching to runningwithgun.
- no crash if standing and shooting and rotate with shooting - make a step and the game crashes of course not if i take this armor off.
- in runningwithgun, the spriteloader accepts only a vertical sheet.
- running works fine.
- mods listed in the reported message-log from section 0.264 to 1.896

Do you have the actual mod so I can run it in debug mode to find and fix the issue?

the armor is in yi_pfw/prototypes/uo_fabx.lua at the end

maybe the multiplayer-overlay is needed and this cause the issue.

i think you need all 3 files

Can you provide links to 0.12 mods so it can be reproduced?

with frame_count=1 it works in 0.12

if have not testet different frame_counts again - permanent crashing by testing different values in 0.11 was to annoying ...
Fatmice walks and fire in this video from 32:30
frame_count = 1 and direction 18 shows now only a hovering armor, after some time it switches back into walk-mode -> so it looks functional

also the armor crashed by 11x11 sizes now its 12x12 and i also not verified this in 0.12 again.
