I bought factorio space age after not playing for a while but when i tried opening it, it crashes 100% of the times, tried uninstalling, drivers, restarting but nothing seems to work and is always the same problem

What did you do? open the game on steam after updating it
What happened? game soundtrack sounds for a few seconds before stopping and then crashing (all of this while black screen, the graphics never appear)
What did you expect to happen instead? launch the game normally
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes? Always, 100% of the times

Thanks for the report. The log doesn't show any crash unfortunately. You could try disabling parallel sprite loading by setting max-sprite-loading-threads to 0 in the config file.

Hello, thanks for the response. I tried what you say but it didnt change anything i still cant play and i dont know why the log doesnt show a crash but i provided a video this time to show better what always happen when i try opening factorio

Update, this stills happen in [2.0.9], i just want to play pls help

Can you please try to download a fresh install of Factorio from our website and launch it with an empty application directory https://wiki.factorio.com/Application_directory

Please also attach a new log file if it crashes again.

I tried it but the exact same error ocurred, i made sure to empty the application directory but still, here is new log file

Please update to 2.0.9 and try again. If it still fails please try the download from our website and exit steam before launching the game.

Just to confirm, are you able to run the base game without Space Age? If you are on Steam, try disabling the DLC, or download Factorio (not Space Age) from our website.

I just tried it and i am not able to run Factorio without Space Age (base game), the same error happens, and about updating to 2.0.9 i already did that but it didnt work too , just a few weeks before 2.0 came out i could play normally i don't know what could have happened.
