i get a desync when trying to join my friends server (public listed) with 0 mods attached.
we have both re installed game, no luck
this doesnt actually desync on my end it just downloads map loop forever and friends game is hard locked till i dc
savegame map is 71mb

here is the kicker
he can join me with 50 mods no dramas
previously i have been able to join him

process
join game
downloads fine
loads but never ends
then i desync and his game locks while it again trys to download map but never does , his game resumes movement 30 sec after i have quit/dc

i cannot get desync as stated in post it doesnt generate one
it de syncs on friends end but my end just downloads map over and over (even thou it doesnt)

Are you saying the saving bar after the desync restarts after finishing or that it never finishes? The log shows the client leaving the server before the report could even be generated.

yes it hard locks i have to quit it even that takes time
it also locks friend game and cannot do anything

also note
he and i can join everyone else just no one can join him

The logs you provided show you disconnecting 4 seconds after the desync, please provide a new set of logs after staying on the server for at least 5 minutes after the desync.

when i get a chance to play again ill wait longer
fyi i have waited a 5 mins before just both our games are locked up
his game hard locks like frozen fully, only after i quit does it respond but ok

prob del this thread ill remake when i play
