[0.17.54] Crash on saving, train signal issue

We wasn't doing anything special at the time. Just placing some walls and turrets.

Server randomly crashed last night when randomly. Went from not responding to I had to end up re-launching the .bat file to get it on again. It left me with a dump file and here is the previous log.

It has tried to do this once before but it caught up and we was able to continue playing.

A save file and steps to reproduce the Crash with it would be helpful.

I can't reproduce what happened. I'm not even sure what caused it.

I will post save file now.

EDIT: Here is a DMP file I found in the server folder as well.

Hello.
The crash on save is a result of doing a consistency check on the state of trains/signals/rails while saving. This is to figure out some edge case of breaking the internal consistency of those systems sooner, as it should be generally easier to reproduce the problem when it happens while saving.

The problem is, that unless you can't reproduce the problem (doing something and then crashing on saving, or crashing on the command /c game.check_consistency()), I can't figure out what is wrong.

If it happens again I'll shadowplay it and then we can see it. There was only my friend and me on the server at the time. I'm not sure what he was doing but I was just placing some train signals when it said not responding. It almost caught up, then it full died. Server stopped running on my dedicated server and everything.

I wish I could help more and I'm glad you guys are looking into this. If it happens again I'll surely shadowplay it and send the required materials!

I believe this is/was the problem. I have updated to 0.17.55 and haven't noticed any crashing on saves. There has been a couple times where the server says (serer is not responding) but only for like 2 seconds on a 40 hour play-through so far. Hasn't crashed as of yet on .55
