new optional parameter "distance", that allows for farther rolling_stock connecting

Something like connect_rolling_stock(direction, other_rolling_stock) could be more useful, so you can build trains without having to move each wagon into place. Maybe including a way to get the distance to another rolling stock so we can do the distance comparison ourselves if that is important.

Direction always seems wonky with trains. We'd need a clear way to get a carriage direction first before we can say connect the next carriage in a direction.
