On Kickstarter there is a project to make relatively inexpensive (~$500) inserter arms and they are available for preorder.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mi ... -robot-arm

Just look at the videos. A dream is about to become reality.

Note: I'm not affiliated to this in any way and just thought it looks cool, didn't find any mention here on the forums but wanted to let you know.

There's other options on the web, too. For example https://www.pinecone.ai/product-page/7bot-basic. It uses ordinary servo motors and doesn't look as cool but it's available today.

Kickstarter...

This will probably be an Epic store exclusive.

And it's not all, they can also sell you a conveyor belt !

Niiiice ! I see that the lowest, early bird tier is "only" $335 ?
Any information about the reputation (and/or previous projects) of the team(s) behind this project ?

I found an online design tool for robotic arms here: https://robolink-designer.igus.tools/construction

Just click the components on the right panel to add them.

You can also change to the second tab to move the arm.

I tried to find something but didn't come up with anything besides the kickstarter project. The names sound Chinese. The presentation is professional. The pricing is realistic for China based manufacturing. So I guess chances are it's legit but you can never tell if anything goes wrong down the road. If $500 sound like a lot to you, it's probably better to wait for independent reviews of the product in a few months.

It's still $335 for the lowest early bird, and :
