Here is the gist of it though:
As said before, you make extremely vald point, several of which I can understand more than you might think. I know how you feel in regards to your opinions not being listened to (whether that's actually true or not), even though you put so much effort into SR and IRC. I was the same way quite a while ago. I was one of the most active and involved T2s along with AP back before you were here. Granted my in game account wasn't near what yours is, but I tried. I clicked as much as I could (daily), I was on IRC every day for hours, involved on forums etc..
I had many situations where I felt like my opinion didn't matter or I was being passed by.
But what you have to remember is that one person's opinion (unless they are a leader) won't change the outcome of a big situation like this. No matter how active or helpful you are, or how much effort you put in, you can't expect your opinion to just completely change an outcome. So when you say it seems like your opinion didn't matter, that isn't true. It just didn't change the overall decision by itself.

As for the other points. You are completely right that most then people making the final decision for something like this aren't even really involved in IRC or the general population of the alliance and most members slaying etc. But what it seems like you aren't realizing is that everyone who made this decision final was you at one point. They didn't get there by riding a lucky banana boat down the right stream. Lol They got there by working their asses off just as you are, and being involved in the community just as you. Granted they/we/I am not that involved with the current happenings on IRC and the slayers of the alliance, but all the leaders/advisors who made the decision final have been there for many ages on the past. They have experienced what your doing, but multiple times over. So yes you make a valid point that they might be clueless to exactly what is considered a good hit for SA amount etc right now with our general members, but they have a vast knowledge of this topic in a general sense and from talking with and dealing with all the other alliances in regards to this. So I think it is perhaps a bit much to say they are just completely clueless to what is considered a good hit with certain SA etc. Multiple higher ups, share for example used to be some of the best slayers in the game, so whether I agree with the decision or not, I trust they know what they are doing in regards to this.
