When I look onto the map I see faces.

Here are some examples:

Do you see the watching child above?

Indeed, that one was one of the first faces I recognised. Perhaps I look to some of former versions of the map to make a photo without buildings on it.

Well, that one is difficult to see. Try to screw your eyes and you will suddenly see it.

Ok, this last one was not so good. But it reminds me to Mr. Burns.

Did you see them, too?

I'd be curious to know if you see anything out of this.

I see
one-eyed man with a pink beard
and
orange parrot with white head
and in the right upper corner
little flying ghost with purple ears

It's called "pareidolia." Basically the human brain is just a huge pattern-matching engine, so whenever it sees something it can't classify - like, say, a cloud - it will still try to classify it as the closest pattern it can match. And the most important matches we have are faces, so whenever you see something that looks even a little like a face, your brain tries to go "that is totally a face."

Well, of course I know the phenomenon. I think the point of this thread is that Factorio reveals very much of those Faces. More than just pure random clouds.
