This OP thinks some items are OP and others are too OP

Solar panels are OP. This means that:
- They cost too much
- They make the game too easy
- They initiated this post
- "Git Down with solar panels P - yeah you know me"

Just saying that the first 2 "OverPriced or OverPowered" are not easily distinguished from context.

Solar Panels are OP!

I don't understand why people complain about them x3

I don't get it, isn't this a contradiction?

That's exactly the point ;) OP could mean OverPowered or it could mean OverPriced.
I don't have OCD, I have CDO. It's the same, but with the letters in the correct order.

Personally, I think they're fine. they're definitely not overpriced for what they do.

if you nerfed them, I'd just build more, but then my map would be nothing but a giant solar farm.

This post was just my reaction to the lingo of the latest era. As for solar panels, I don't use them at all if I have Tree mod installed since I prefer to automate the production of coal and just use massive amounts of upgraded Steam Generators.

In line with lingo misuse, I like - "Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? 'Cause if it leaks to the VC he could end up MIA, and then we'd all be put on KP." - Good Morning Viet Nam

Mods aside in the vanilla game the only problem is the lack of choice in regards to power generation. There's solar, and there's steam. Unless the world settings have coal being fairly abundant steam isn't really much of an option after you get past 50MW of constant power usage, you need what coal there is for plastic, and clearing out a whole forest will only power your factory for a few minutes. Solid fuel works well but depending on your world settings it will only really work as a holdover until you switch to solar, as you need all that oil for... plastic. Add in more options and this problem goes away and you could probably nerf solar panels and have more people cheering than moaning about it.

Speaking of plastic, why can't I make plastic bags? I wanna dump them in the ocean.
