First day, first 'auto potion' machine, any feedback?

Most of you will probably cringe at this but.. bought the game like 5 hours ago and its now 4am and I am still playing!
Wanted to know your thoughts on this

Looks respectable for your first 4am run! Keep in mind that non-smart inserters will only pick up items that the target area can accept. An inserter putting iron plates into an assembler will only pick up iron plates - so no need for everything to be smart inserters.

Wasup Man! I got three tips for you.
1. If you haven't pressed alt during the game then I applaud you in making that factory that must have been really difficult. If you just forgot to push alt before you took this screen shot it's prolly a good idea to push it so we can see exactly what the assemblers are making and how you organized it.
2. I see you have two steel furnaces awesome! You are going to need alot more! You should consider allocating a good size portion of your base just to smelt iron and copper.
3. and my final suggestion is that I see you have iron and copper ore on the same side of the belt and you've created a nice little loop and smart inserters to sort everything out. I suggest you put the coal on the other side of the belt just for good practice even though your loop will place them all on the same side again lol. This will come in handy for the future!

you don need any smart inserters for this, just use normal ones. you will only need smart inserters for really complicated resource layouts.
But the smart inserters dealing with the iron,coal, and copper are fine
(I'm saying this because smart inserters use more power than normal inserters and you need all the power you can get
)

Looking at a fresh approach to the game is always interesting.
You seem to have had a good time in those 5 hours.
I bet you will soon have played far more. Many are surprised at how captivating this game is.
Show your Creations is a good place on this forum to get comments.

-smart inserters unless u have 1 other matterial on the transport belt / chest
+ nice structure on the double potion belting thingy,
- you´re using alot of space, there is several of other ways of doing that and have it more efficent and productive
