A Fresh Perspective on Performance Analysis and Profiling

Hello,
I love FFF and the way the Factorio development team shares information about the game's development with us is my way of giving back.
Of course, software performance is extremely important, especially in games like Factorio. But the way we do performance analysis and profiling tends to introduce bias.
Two researchers worked on this topic and found a new way to improve performance analysis and profiling. Everything is explained in this video:
