Associating an electric-energy-interface to my entity.
Associating an electric-energy-interface to my entity.
I have created an entity that does not typically require power. To solve this I have created an electric-energy-interface entity that is invisible, but how do I make my original entity show that it needs power and the power state when I hover over it?

You can not. The entity_info windows (that shows up when you mouse over an entity) is not moddable or configurable. The best you can do is use a fancy localized description. Or make the eei selectable.

Ah that's a right shame - thank you anyways.

Depending on what you're trying to do another approach would be to make the eei the main selectable entity. It doesn't have to be visible for that. But without knowing what exactly you're trying to do i can't really help. And chance are that there are just no "nice and clean" solutions, so it depends on how much hacking you're willing to accept.
