Markdown and stiling in the factorio mod page

Can someone write all the commands with wich you can customize a mod page here on the Forum and/or in the Factorio mod page (Corsive; Bold; Surveys; Links with keywords… ex.).
Especially for create a sort of guide for the new modders and/or simply for give an help.

Skype, Discord and Telegram all claim to use Markdown for formatting.
Skype: *...* = bold
Discord: *...* = Italics
Telegram: **...** = bold, I think, it might be italics too but it's definitely a double mark.

My conclusion... Markdown = Do whatever the fuck you want as long as it's text between symbols.
So... I can't really help you here because I hate, not only the inconsistency, but especially the single symbol style as it means it often just pops up in the middle of a block of text, such as if you're using * a lot for multiplication when writing out equations. (Skype and Discord butcher my equations with formatting, Telegram doesn't!)

I much prefer the to start and [/i] to end method as used on the forums. I think they call that BB script, as it was first used on the BB forum software. I think BB stands for bulletin board.
