Can a single factorio account play two+ players on multi?

Can a single factorio account play as two or more players on multiplayer server? I'd like to debug some of my mods in multiplayer-mode, but am not sure how.

You can play over LAN or direct connect without signing into a factorio account

You'll need to go into the config file and change the port of one copy if you are testing on the same system
