Pivot points of inserters

Hi there.
How do I edit the pivot points of inserters? I am planning to remodel inserters into people. I have made the body of the guy as the inserter base, his forearm as the inserter_arm and his hand as inserter_hand but when you do that it looks like a guy with an oversized arm. If I could shift the pivot point of inserters from top middle to left middle, that would be great.
Any luck with doing that?
Also the ability to change the pivot point of the effect transmitter, tank turret, car turret etc... would be great too.

Can I also "hide" the wires on poles? I mean they will have lines, but I do not want them to be visible, or retexturing the wire is also a good thing. It looks like the wiring is hard coded though.

I kinda solved the pivot problem in a hacky way. I used offset command to offset the base picture, until the arm looks like it attached the right place. Not a great way to do it but, eh.
