[Request] Game Loader Application

I am looking for someone to create something like (Multi MC) or FTB application,
that would let me have several instances of the game, all with independant mods, config and saves folder.

Currently all mods, config and saves folder are in the roaming (%appdata%) area, and preventing me from having different instances of the game with independant mods, config and saves files/folder.
So I am looking for something like a (Multi MC) in minecraft or like a FTB or ATLancher, that does the same thing that it does for minecraft but for Factorio.

Some days I would like to play only with certain mods, and some days I would like to play vanilla.
Cant do this because everything is stuffed into the roaming folder and makes it a bit difficult to do and a bit annoying & time consuming.
That's why I am asking for a Multi MC, FTB or ATLauncher like application for Factorio.

thanks.

If you download the game using zip file instead installer it will use it's own directory for all saves and read mods from it.
You can then have lots of folders with different game configurations.

Additionally I would like to add that if you installed factorio already and would like to add another instance of it without downloading everything open up the directory where you installed factorio, edit the file "config-path.cfg" edit the first line to "config-path=__PATH__executable__/../../config" and the last line switch the value from true to false.

Run game in administrator mode and then close it. you can now delete those shortcuts that you have to mods and saves folders in your factorio directory.

After you done all this you can simply copy and paste this folder as many times you like and add as many folders as you want to it.
For example I have 3 instances, 1 vanilla with experimental updates on, 1 dytech modded factorio and another one with my own mods that I am creating for the fun of it :)

Enjoy :D

Thank You, I will definitely give this a try. :)
Too bad each time you copy the entire folder, will cost 3 GB's of space or so.... So for example: 3 folders will cost 9 to 12 gigs depending on the folder contents.
Instead of just having instance folders with only config files and mods in them, while the game files remain intact and in the same location, but rather running instances from different game configurations along with mods for them.
(a bit hard to explain I know sorry). :)

Anyways, you ideas will do for the time being.
I might need to run to the computer store for a dedicated drive just for factorio, like I have for Minecraft. ;)
