Forces & Entity Usage/Assignment

I have a question, which is slowly plaguing my mind:

In my mod, I have a new force, which I called 'abandonments' to use for desolate and malfunctioned structures.

I have made a few entity deep-copies, lika a laser, storage, etc. These are autoplaced at map generation under that force assignment.

But it seems these entities can be used by the default 'enemies' force, the biters. So every so often on expansion, I'll see one of these structures chilling in an expanded base. Which of course, is not what I want.

Is something in the data processing stage that would make sure certain structures are only used by certain forces? Is there something I'm missing? I'd prefer not to use a hacky control script to nuke them when they're found on the default 'enemy' biter force.
