"Modding" question Krastorio2

I'm currently playing K2 expensie mode (every recipe 2x cost) and wanted to adjust one recipe. kovarex enrichment base cost to 15 (so it gets doubled to 30, which is the modified recipe in K2) so the ratio of 235 stays the same. Trough some digging i found the file "/prototypes/vanilla-changes/mandatory/recipes-changes.lua", also searched trough github and this is the only occurence of the recipe change.

But when I modify the file, and re-launch the game nothing happens.
