updating mods & savegame

Is there a way to use an updated mod-version( updated control file) in a savegame?

As far as I can see the savegame still uses the old control.lua data instead the updated one.

The only control.lua that is stored in the save is the control of the map.

It can be forced to be reloaded in the migration script (and it will work as long as you have the corresponding scenario)

oops, thanks for clarifying this.
My problem was that I had a bug in my script that only appeared every now and then. And while testing it just appeared in 1 savegame, that is why I thought that.
Anyway I guess I fixed it.

And sorry for the inconvenience.
