say a entity 10x10 big. Only 2 railways inside it form a + shape. Nothing allowed inside. When character leaves cargo, it gets outside of this entity.
Only to save some efforts we spend only to simplify railway system.

Since then it's no longer possible to make real bridges, the following mods have workarounds that at least look the part:

I've played this

But I have to say, it doesn't work well enough.
So, I kept ask for bridges for train every half a year.
