Testing this in 1.1.2.
To reproduce:
- Open a factorio game
- Type /editor in the console
- Click on "Time"
- Increase timescale to 64x
- Depress the "pause" button
Watch as you get many auto-saves in (relatively) quick succession.
[1.1.2] Increasing the in-game time scale also increases the rate of auto-saving when paused
Re: Increasing the in-game time scale also increases the rate of auto-saving when paused
I'm not certain this only happens when the game is paused.
Re: [1.1.2] Increasing the in-game time scale also increases the rate of auto-saving when paused
Thanks for the report however that's simply how the autosave system works. It goes based off game.tick which is directly effected by game.speed.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
Re: [1.1.2] Increasing the in-game time scale also increases the rate of auto-saving when paused
Maybe this is a feature request then. It can be annoying when the purpose of increasing the time scale is to test things, e.g. if a blueprint will deadlock after a long time.
