[1.1.1] No power icon is of centre for steam engine
As you can see below the "No power" icons for the steam engine are not in the middle of the entity.

Why is this a bug?
Who said that all warning icons need to be centered on the (drawing/collision box of the) entity?
I believe It is more important to clearly identify which steam engine in a long row of steam engines has no power, and similarly with steam turbines.
The current placement should make this easier.

Quick visual inspection shows that they're on the "visual" center of the entity, which for many things is not the technical center position. But looking at assembline machines i think having that "properly centered" would drive many people insane. ;)
Fun bonus fact: The stream turbines you show for reference are also off-center.

Yes, it is possible to define offset of the alert icon, and we did so for steam-engine back in 0.16
Re: [1.1.1] No power icon is of centre for steam engine
It seems a tad too high for me on the horizontal rotation - I noticed it a few weeks ago and almost reported it but didn't get around to it. It's understandable if it's not the technical center, but it doesn't look like it's in the "visual" center either.

Y'all can nitpick and bikeshed about every single minutia of the game all you like. Nobody cared about this since we intentionally shifted the alert icons on some entities off center 3 years ago, so I am just gonna peace out of this thread.
Re: [1.1.1] No power icon is of centre for steam engine
Now technically we've only had 2.96 years to complain since 0.16 released. I'm very disappointed in Wube for infringing on my obligatory 3-year complaining period.
(Oh wait Posila only said I could nitpick about every minutia of the game. Apologies, retracted.)
