High UPS and production screen

0.11.16 is here, yay!
I have two bugs for you, made a video for you :)

The first one is that I run at around 100 UPS unless there is a lot going on on the screen. This is regardless of if v-sync is on, or off (It makes waiting for red circuits to craft up quite... tolerable :P)
The other one is not exactly game changing, but I included it anyway, The Production screen resets to the 5s view when a research is finished. EDIT: The electrical screen closes entirely

I run the game on a powerful computer and have a 144Hz screen (I suspect that is the cause)
specs:
Windows 7 home premium sp1
3.5GHz processor
16gb ram
AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series 1100 MHz, 3072 MB Memory

I can't open the video.
In single player, the window is closed because new research is conducted. In multiplayer, the window is not affected.

In multiplayer, the window is not closed, but to avoid different kind of problems, all the gui is recreated, so it is expected behavior.

Uploaded the video to Youtube, Take a look at the UPS, as this is the main reason i'm posting this.
It might be a duplicate of the "strange speed ups" [https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... 043#p63692] post, except the game is running at 100 UPS all the time, unless under heavy load, where the UPS goes back to 60, it will stay there until I open anything which pauses the game (esc menu, or research)

I'm sorry, but our bug report reactions are always related to the first bug of the post. One bug per post rule is there to keep us sane.
