Not sure if it has actually anything to do with Factorio itself, but with last windows update what happened to me is that UI got pretty dark in some areas. most notably the inventory background

I am thinking it's more of a Windows fault because for example Chrome adress bar background got suddenly the same colour as well, but i can't seem to get rid of it (switching light/dark theme in Windoes doesn't help) and it's kinda weird it affects Factorio as well. Is there a way how to tweak the UI colours back to the original? Because its supposed to have the light grey background not the dark one and there is no options to change it inside Factorio.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Thanks for the report however I don't see any bug in that screenshot. that's what the UI looks like in 0.18 and later.

There is the Classic GUI mod if you want to try that.

Look at the screenshots again: What i posted has DARK coloured tiles in the inventory. I'ts nowhere near what's on the other two you guys posted. It's completely different colours. I played 0.18 with the new UI for several months (ever since it came out) with tiles having the same light grey tint we all know and are used to. Then it changed to what i've posted. It's by no means the same colour! There is no way you don't see it...

I am of course not talking about the "slick" look and feel of the UI and everything - i loved that since it came out, the only issue is the incredibly dark tiles that somehow happened for no reason at all. Those dark tiles were not a version change - and they didn't came with Factorio version update. Also disabling any mods or even downgrading to earlier Factorio version doesn't fix it. They still stay dark.

It looks exactly how it is supposed to look. The other two screenshots were from before the changes. The most recent changes were discussed in this Friday Facts post:

I am pretty sure the dark inventory tiles were introduced with version 0.18.13 on March 17, as described here:
