[0.17.79] MP Spawn stuck in Tree

I watched abgematzed playing Factorio then one new player join and got spawn inside a tree and he can't move - an other player need to remove that tree to get him out of that tree

I don't speak the language but it seems they were just goofing around? The player can clearly move before the tree is removed and even if he spawned in the tree, he could have cut it down by himself

it looks like "abgematzt" hit the new player what make him remove the stuck - hellturbo told me he can't move untile he get hit or the tree was removed

The respawn logic finds a non-colliding position to respawn the player so it's not possible that the player was actually stuck. They could have mined the tree to get around them if they got put in the middle of enough trees they couldn't walk out but they didn't spawn "suck in a tree".
