[0.17.24] Error during game loading sprites... 89%

Screenshot is self explanatory. I quit factorio, then exit steam and my computer got a blue screen of death, didn't catch what the error was. In event log its a Kernel-Power source, system stopped responding, crashed or lost power unexpectedly. I started up the computer and Factorio was missing from steam so I clicked install and then verify game files just to make sure but I get this error when opening Factorio.

Your computer is having problems (as you said) - and you installed the not-experimental branch of Factorio.
See game wont start after downgrading it from experimental
