[0.17.11] Problems with new map and saving

so i am playing with a lot of mods bobs, angels, omni, Pyanodons and afew others. the game loads fine when i press play the screen goes black for 10mins then loads all the visuals, then saving takes 5 minutes. attached below is a save plus the log file

Thanks for the report. The issue is with the mod(s) you're using: one or more of them is bloating the script data with 2.5 GB of information - which is also causing the save file to be so large when there's nothing going on with the map.

From loading your save with the mods it used 8 GB of RAM on my computer and from the log you gave you didn't even have that much free before the game started. That means you ran out of RAM and it was paging to disk.

so i'll just have to deal with the problem or get more RAM! great

Or remove mods until you find which one is putting garbage into your save file :p

i removed all of Pyanodons mods and the problem disappears

You don't even have to go that far. The mod that is dumping all the data into your save file is FNEI, so you only have to remove that. Good luck with your further playthrough, that mod combination looks like a nightmare :lol:

Fun fact: The only text editor that managed to open the script.dat was Emacs :roll:
