[0.11.1] Move+Disassemble

Moving as you Disassemble/Destroy is no longer as effective removing each object in a line, it will skip a few and then destroy one and skip a few. This was a useful feature to have. :)

EDIT: Did you mean "deconstructing a row of buildings while walking?"
I sure would miss that feature too.

For me it still works in single player, but not with too many exoskelletons used. In Multiplayer it does skip one or two every time, even on LAN.

Same goes for placing them, pipes and walls, if your speed is too high, it starts skipping one every eight or so.

I've noticed the same thing with placing belts in the map editor, some are skipped.

The same with ghosted buildings.

I've noticed this too. Its much harder to remove the things my noob friend placed incorrectly ;)

I was going to make a bug report about this, but saw that this thread already existed. It's close but not identical to what I was going to post - I'm not sure what the official stance is on such cases. ("When in doubt post on the old thread" versus "when in doubt post a new thread")

As such, can the title please be edited to a) include 0.11.6, and b) note that this happens for construction as well as deconstruction?

Long story short, placing buildings by holding the mouse down and running when you have a couple exoskeletons tends to skip spots every so often, even in single player. My guess would be that what's happening is that there isn't any game tick where the cursor is over that particular tile. This could be fixed by (ex) drawing a line from the previous cursor position to the current one, and doing the action on any tile that intersects the line.

This is definitely not a bug but a feature request.

In multiplayer there is the delay between the user input and execution, and it is causing this.

In 0.12 we might do some steps to overcome it.
