I would expect robots to follow lines between roboports. Instead, they wander into enemy territory and are getting killed by hundreds. So, they should either travel roboport-to-roboport until they reach closest roboport to destination or avoid enemies.

If you want that, make a development suggestion, not having that behaviour is not a bug.
