Hi,

I'm away from home for the holiday season so I'm using my laptop (Mac) rather than my desktop (PC) and i decided to play some Factorio on a rainy day. I copied the mods list from my desktop and set about downloading the mods through Factorio. Upon restarting Factorio I received this error message:



Clicking yes or no just leaves the main window hanging there, Steam going nuts on the CPU and the game doesn't load or close, I have to Force Quit the game.

Here (LINK) is a copy of factorio-current.log. Here (LINK) is a list of the mods I was attempting to use.

I've also added and removed mods to try and work out what works and what doesn't. This (LINK) is a list of mods that will work together. If any of these (LINK) mods are added I get the same crash. If angelsrefining_0.5.5.zip is added with just all of bobs mods, I get the crash but not if just angelsrefining_0.5.5.zip and angelsinfiniteores_0.4.5.zip are used. Other mods in the last list will load by alone but sometimes not with other mods and I have not been able to find an overall pattern.

I have connected to my desktop at home and tested these mods via teamviewer and they have no problems all loading together on my Windows desktop. My laptop is a MacBook Pro (17-inch, Mid 2010), processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB, OS: OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.

Please let me know if there is any other information you need/want or anything I can try or test at this end.

You've got too many mods for your computer to handle. They're overloading the available VRAM on your graphics card.

You'll need to get a different computer if you want to use that many mods together.

That is unfortunate, I'd forgotten about the limited graphics memory, I don't usually use my laptop for gaming.
