I've noticed this for a few versions, I was just too lazy to sign up. Sorry about that Anyway, when holding an item in hand and entering or exiting a vehicle; the item in hand drops to the cursor. I actually just figured out that it drops to cursor, I used to think it just disappeared but went to test if it happens in a tank since i use it so rarely. So I noticed I dropped Titanium Plate [Bob's mod] which stands out more than most items i'm usually holding.

Okay so it was a false alarm. Because you said it wasn't happening I wondered why and came to the conclusion of a clean install (rather than moving mods as I thought it was a conflict). So I tried that and found out I couldn't get in the car because my normal install is using Z to use cars. I never noticed there was a key to drop items. Whoops Just gotta end my shame and delete this thread and my account. My bad!

Although since I have an account now, i'm tempted to make a thread suggesting mouse drag snap-lock for building in straight lines, or maybe this post is enough? Sorry for wasting time though
