This Burner inserter burnt itself out.
The yellow belt was outputting coal from a single Electric Miner on the inside lane of the belt.

The Burner Inserter would reach for it, but it would get out of reach to quickly for it to grab it.

I'm a bit lost here, what is the inserter supposed to do at that position in the first place?

The pieces of coal going past were spending too little time in the Burner Inserter hitbox preventing it from refueling itself, and the boiler I replaced the pipe with.
It can't grab it but attempts to regardless. Using up the 1 coal value of fuel from when they're placed down.

If you move the coal to the outside of the curve it will work, or just put the vertical feed one tile further west.
