I had used smart loading/unloading balancing with smart chests wired to smart inserters.
After updating from 0.12.35 to 0.13.1 (also in 0.13.0) the smart chests are replaced with steel chests.
Any wires previously connected to the smart chests are lost.
Expected result: Any entity previously connected to a wire network should retain connection after being replaced.
[0.13.1] Smart chests replaced with steel chests lost wires
Re: [0.13.1] Smart chests replaced with steel chests lost wires
Due to to the complex nature of migrating settings of removed entities, this is how it's working now.
Consider it maintenance that you have to do to your base

Thanks for your quick response.
It is a death world, so apart from my stations not working I also have to deal with the new biter incursions.
I had almost obtained "peace" by pushing back the spawners from the cloud using victory items.
Now, as I fix the stations they draw closer.
Since the production was stalled the cloud was reduced, but they are there and need to be dealt with.
Keeping an old map going is a challenge after a major update.
Each update was like a new game (0.10 0.11 0.12) and this time it is even better.
