Hello,
I have just recently started playing factorio.
I play on a mac it doesn't have any problems running the game.
There does seem to be a bug though when I am researching because the Reasearch button does not appear for the Engine even though I have the requirements.
It also stays with the red things that are unresearchable even though it is.

I have researched the problem but I have not found any solutions.

Here is the problem:


0.12.29 is the current mac versions even though there are newer PC versions.

Not a bug: The Engine requires Steel processing, which you haven't researched yet (See the light green one on the right side where it says Requires?)

Green means already researched, but light green means not researched yet but can be researched without more requirements.

You still need to research steel processing.

.30 and later are experimental releases, you need to enable updating to those in the settings or opt into beta if using Steam.
