[0.8.x] No attack waves in the end

I'll put it here so it does not get forgotten. I liked how in previous versions, when you charged rocket defense, huge enemy waves came in. It gave the game a bit of thrill if you can make it for the win or fortify better first. Now it's just useless dull 10 min countdown to end where no enemy comes during whole time - no reward for finishing a game. I want that apocalypse swarm before liftoff back!
