[2.0.24] "Keeping your hands clean "achievement stays failed when loading an earlier save

Post by ThreeWheeler »

1. What did you do?
  • I tried to load a save file to get the "Keeping your hands clean" achievement I previously failed.
2. What happened?
  • The achievement was still failed. I verified the research for artillery was still locked.
3. What did you expect to happen instead?
  • I expected the achievement to be available.
Note: The the save file is for under 100 hours and the "Work around the clock" achievement is available so some 'failed' achievements are resetting.

4. Does it happen always, once or sometimes?
  • Always, I also tried my 'First trip to Fulgora" save that is even earlier and it is also failed there.

You are aware that the achievement requires you to never have killed a biter base before you unlock artillery? Are you certain that that is the case for your save?

As you stated "the research for artillery is locked", i get the impression you may have missunderstood the achievment.

Ok, I've re-read the achievement description and I can see what you mean. It makes a lot more sense now that I interpret it to be any biter nest kill before artillery.

I think the description is a bit confusing and I agree with the sentiment expressed here.

What should I do to mark this as not a bug?
