Always did, temperature never mattered in vanilla. Also, turbines work with <500 steam ;)

Yes, but a steam turnine won't generate as much power for cooler steam. (for cold steam, 1 turbine consumes and produces the equivalent of 2 engines)

That depends on what is your measured priority.
If it's landuse, then yes, one steam turbine produces energy the equivalent of two steam engines.
If it's the amount of consumed cold steam, the extracted energy is the same (just slower with the same landuse / the same with larger landuse).

And if we're comparing consuming hot steam, one steam turbine produces 3 times the energy as two steam engines from the same amount of hot steam (engines wasting 70% of energy).
