For example say I am in orbit on Nauvis. Nauvis is currently requesting iron plates. I have iron plates on my ship for ammo. In my list of planets Nauvis' Unload option is Off. If I go to edit the list of planets (I have found myself doing this more often then I'd like because you can't reorder the list) and remove Nauvis, Nauvis defaults to Unload - On, and all my plates disappear instantly. This is surprising.

They will only disappear if Nauvis landing pad is requesting iron plates, or platform is set to trash them.
