1. What did you do?

I researched Inserter Capacity Bonus 6, and then reviewed the tooltip.

2. What happened?

The tooltip for 6 (which has completed) says 3. What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!

The current inserter capacity is 10, which is neither 9 nor 11. It's 1+9, which makes sense, but the tooltip for Inserter Capacity 6 says that it goes from +9 to +11, so I would expect my capactiy to be 12. After reviewing all the other tooltips, it appears that the tooltip is referencing the current inserter bonus capacity and then adding to it, so it's only ever correct looking at the next technology to be researched, and none of the others, further in the future or in the past, have the correct bonuses listed.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

This happens always.

Thanks for the report however this is working as intended. The bonus shows what *that* technology would apply to the current state. It is not accumulative with previous technologies in the queue/tree.

I would like to make a suggestion then, to have it show the effect of that technology on the expected state when researching that technology, so that we can see the accumulated effect by looking ahead more than one technology in the tree. Especially with the queue, it’s reasonable a person might queue them both back to back and be confused about what they will do.
