Step: In remote view build a vertical line of belts that goes throw a tree. You can hold shift to mark the tree for destruction, or don't hold shift to place an underground belt ghost. Then right click on the belt and move up / down to delete all the ghosts. The ghost behind the tree can't be removed.
Expected behaviour: You delete the ghost.
Actual behaviour: The tree gets marked for destruction (if not already) and the ghost remains.
NOTE: You can delete the ghost using the destruction planner.

Thanks for the report however I don't believe we will be changing this. The selection priority is intended that you can remove the real-entity-in-the-way and not the ghost-entity-that-caused-the-real-entity-to-be-marked-for-removal. You can use one of several methods to work around this if that's not the desired outcome.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Re: [2.0.11] Can't delete ghost behind a tree in remote view
Actually, there isn't always a workaround. I had this problem myself but they where real belts, not ghosts.
Unfortunately, I hadn't unlocked robots yet and wanted to keep the tree...
(I guess I could've tried shooting the belt? or would that also target the tree?)
Making it so if your cursor isn't visually overlapping the tree, it selects the thing behind it would make sense.
