Robots leaving thier home network when there is no power ?

Post by TheRailmaker »

What did you do?
-place a roboport with 50 construction bots, powered by a few solar cells
-place a storage chest in the logistic network with ~3000 landmines
-ghost ~3000 in the building range of roboport

What happened?
-The bots start working
-bots go to charge
-power goes low
-afer a while the roboport shows the red "lack of power signal "
-all bots just leave thier network forever

What did you expect to happen instead?
-I expected the robots to wait in thier own network untill they get power back, since there is no logical reason to go to the next network likely having the same problem soon.

-You can "loose" every bot of your whole main network to a single roboport far outside in this way

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?

-Blueprint works every time. Place it and wait some days.
-usally in the night time, when solar goes to 0
-Happens in many simular screnarios with both robot types.

Thanks for the report however this is working as intended. When a roboport loses power the network is gone - deleted. There is no network for the robots to wait around for/in. And so they go to the next closest one.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
