Train Pathing

Post by OwenBOSS »

So I just set up a smelting area for the copper, and as I finish networking the train system I notice an issue. The locomotive was set to go, only waiting on a finished path, route already planned. But then nothing happened. No path continued to plague me. So I tried a bunch of things and here's what it boils down to.

The train can route to a station one space back, but I must manually drive it just one track forward. Absolutely confused. The game is acting as if the segment of the track leading up to the train stop is unconnected to the rest of the base.

I have screenshots, but I cannot figure out how to post them, so if you can show me how I'll get those up ASAP.
Edit: Appears I need permission to post pics.

Can you post a save game as well? Do you have a way to reproduce the issue?

Maybe the permission to send pictures is because the forum account is new, i know you can't send private message, maybe pictures too. Have you tried to upload them with the attach file in the forum ?
A save game would be more useful since it allows to see for more informations like the name of every other stations in the whole map, and also all the trains schedule ect, seems like the kind of stuff i'd scratch my head onto for fun when i have free time :)

It's also only pictures. As already mentioned, please provide a save file.

Well, I figured out how to use the forums now. I believe this is everything.

In the second pic, all the stations in my base are available. I even expanded the stations to the south thinking that would fix the problem, seeing as the train shot right through without a Train Stop, but once the stop was added the problem occurred once again.

You can see the incorrect signal above the bottom power pole in your screenshots. NaB.

Never mind. You are right! It snuck its way into the blueprint. Thank you. Case closed.

Also, thank y'all for teaching me how to use the forums. Much love.
