[0.18.27] Layering problem with yellow arrow in Level 01 of new old tutorial

I recently posted this as a suggestion, but I tested it again and now I believe this is actually a bug.

This problem still persists in 1.1.1.

How to reproduce:

Start Tutorial Level 01 "Crash", follow the instructions until you craft the stone furnace.

1. Place the stone furnace.
2. Place 5 or more iron ore into the furnace.
3. Place fuel into the iron furnace and keep the stone furnace GUI open to observe iron ore being smelted into iron plate. Make sure the GUI is completely covering the stone furnace and some area around it.
4. Once the stone furnace has crafted 5 iron plates, a yellow arrow appears that tries do point at the stone furnace, but is drawn over the GUI.
