I guess you make a lot of people very happy with this post - however I am a bit in fear of your definition of "soon" which has proven to be very stretchable ;)

As always: Keep up the good work. I will check out the discord 8-)

The big work is done. Py is more or less just waiting on me and we are getting pretty close at this point. Just mostly scripting work to finish up.

So I know not to agree to take additional projects at work in the next months cause overtime is bad for pymods

Does the update apply to all aspects of your mod or will it again be 90% alien life and 10% of the rest? :)

I know. But I want to play :)
I am dying to know how many weeks a few odd weeks are. (no rush, modauthors :D )

Edit: and I don't want to go back to the competition (wink Angels).

Everything got attention. Several not pyal ones got massive revisions and during the alpha testing phase for pyae there's going to be another big ass change aimed at pyph and pyro

Is this lithium batteries/accumulators? Will lithium chloride have any other uses?

Good luck to all PyTeam with development
Can't wait for this amazing mod :D :D

Hi there :)

So, I've been wondering .. Since PyAE has been released on the Mod Portal but no 'official' release statement was made - is this still Beta or otherwise unfinished?

Nonetheless - Great Work. Thank you so very much. I really like the feeling of mostly everything. I first started Pyanodons about 2 years ago (without PyAL). And i really liked the masses of items I had to move (tailings, coke and other byproducts) and the systems I had to invent to solve this challenge. Progression felt great, especially when getting to a new tier of refining, since it came with new problems that reverberated through the whole factory and with great benefits, too. I don't remember why, but I stopped after reaching chemical science.

With PyAE I now started again, including PyAL. After a few minutes I realized that everything has Ash as a burn byproduct. Why? It makes the start sooo exhausting. Why is there no more handcrafting recipe for Simple Circuit Boards? Please tell me why. Why do I like this? ^.^

You did great with the tech tree. It now is much better to understand. And as always, your sprites and designs are fantastic.

I only found 2 things that I feel need improvement:
  1. I can use Sap Tree as Module in many factories. Escpecially in factories using liquid fuel it kinda feels cheaty. Is this intended?
  2. Creosote/Treated Wood/Rail chain seems unbalanced to me. I need ~700 Tar to convert to 100 Creosote to make 2 Treated wood to make 2 Rails. That seems unnecessarily hard, as it corresponds to around 150 Raw Coal + large amounts of fuel for steam generation. Tar Extractor and other Tar recipes are locked behind Logistics Science. And the second - but still unrewarding - Rail recipe is locked behind PyScience 2. Further you need Treated Wood in Simple Circuit Boards, too. In my last playthrough I had over 40k Rails placed before reaching Chemical Science. Imo there needs to be some tweaking here. Maybe add another and better recipe for Creosote between Logistical and PyScience 2? Or increase rail output by factor 10+?

Update: Found more

There seems to be a recipe for crafting Plastic Bar in normal (burner) assembler from ... nothing?

Again - is this intended? Seems to be a little too easy
