i am looking for some tips how you handle glass with full py in 'early' game? (on the step to green science)
i struggle with the amount of glass needed and therefore liquid fuel required to feed glassworks
currently i use syngas (via coal gas from tar)
do you have any alternative ideas what to feed in there? or should i 'wait' to get to green science researches -> what do you burn with green tier?
(i have quite limited oil and tar patches)

do you have any crude oil patches near?
id yes maybe fuel oil or H oil are a better solution for u
syngas from wood ? via DDC

Using Fuel Oil (Crude Oil -> Fuel Oil) should give you enough combustible fuel to the Red Science research.
Before that, I used mostly Tar - it's not much, but enough to get the first Oil Drill

thank you!
i currently use all surplus crude oil to fuel oil to combustion mixture for power
i will try to redirect my fuel oil to glass and instead use other means for power:
- iron to phytoplank to biomass to steam
- auog power (i love it, but requires a rather large kicalk + fawogae plantation)

I'd add, I have always been short on glass until the chemical science recipe. So I think it's a planned bottleneck.

depending on your planned science rate, but it is also very important to use upgraded flask receipt (eg to add boron-trioxide) to cut down glass requirements a lot
